About Us

Uranium Industry is dedicated to creating long-term business value while adhering to international ethical standards, safety guidelines, and environmental protection principles.

Uranium Industry is committed to creating long-term value that also benefits those affected by mining activities. Our company adheres to internal policies that fully respect international ethical values and standards at all levels of management, international safety standards, and principles of environmental and community protection.

We understand that uranium mining has historically been associated with societal stigma due to its environmental impact and the effects on local populations. However, in recent decades, significant scientific and technological advancements have been made in both mining and the initial processing of extracted ore. Uranium mining and processing are now among the most modern and closely monitored areas of mineral resource utilization, fully respecting all environmental and safety standards.

Uranium Industry a.s. leverages unique Czech expertise in the areas of mining, processing, and reclamation of sites affected by uranium mining as part of our environmental responsibility.

Uranium Industry a.s. focuses on the use of in-situ leaching technology, which minimizes the direct impact on the environment in the mining area and its vicinity. Our mining system does not produce any waste dumps or other waste piles that disrupt the surrounding landscape.

The mined material is natural uranium concentrate, which, due to the closed cycle of mining, processing, and transportation, does not pose excessive risks to the surrounding population or the environment.
